I think you have found a scattered brain to be interesting.:)

We do share an interest in early Christianity and second temple Judaism. What could we do to encourage more discussion in that area. Probably most experts do not have time for LT discussion with laypeople like me.

Is there a fairly active group that discusses a variety of topics on that period?

Minas Gerais? A família de minha mãe é de Juiz de Fora, passei bons momentos da infância por lá. Na verdade, sou um carioca que adotou Porto Alegre há dez anos e daqui não sai por nada desse mundo. :)
