hi....i have recently joined....i notice that u have Synchronous Machines -Theory and Performance as a collection in your library...do u know where i can get a ebook of the same if it is available??
See you have the Merchant Bankers among your large collection. I just read it. Lehmann was the American financial house he chose to highlight. Ironic.
Hi, I just joined this site. I noticed that you're interested in parenting books. Have you read The Ultimate Guide for Stay at Home Parents? Here's a link: http://www.ulitmateparents.blogspot.com
Hey you have the book Amateur Telescope Making (Patrick Moore's Practical Astronomy Series). I am trying to fix the book. It was listed as being by Ingalls. Now it is in the system twice once as having no author or editor the other with Stephen F. Tonkin. Could you add the author/editor Stephen F. Tonkin your copy?
fneddy - thanks for the insight of xtal sets, I also built a few as a kid
(40+ years) ago. That was my introduction to electronics - I have been
hooked ever since. I have learned some more about receivers since then;
but it still amazes me what can be done with simple materials.

As to your antenna concept, perhaps you should write it up for the XTAL
journal, there would likely be some interest. (I am not a subscriber, but
would be glad to get you some info if you want.)

You certainly have an interesting library - I am just starting to organize and add mine. At my current rate - perhaps I will be done at the end of the year. I find it a very refreshing exercise, it is making me go through all the books I have and I am doing some semi-serious "weeding"
I saw your note to pw0327, and had a look at your library - it's really an interesting mix. Not too many of us bridge the "two cultures" so well.
I got it: Marek Samotyj
Really? That is cool. I worked for EPRI on a project when I was in grad school. A catalog of adjustable drive companies and their products. Did you know Ben Banerjee or a gentlean with an eastern European surname. For life of me I can't remember it right now.

By the way, I am just a fraction of the way towards where you are now and I am having a hard remembeering where I put everything. I find that no system is ever adequate enough.
We seem to share quite a few titles in our libraries. It looks like you are a power systems/electric machinery designer of some kind too.
