Look at the cover of my Kyoka -- japan's comic verse (at google bks named kyka because the chevron over the "o" must have defeated their software -- to see how Garamond can be taken advantage of. I guess i just want someone interested in font, which also means someone intersted in book design to peek at my books (100% viewable at Google Books)
Now am thinking of offering books as e-books but fear the mix of japanese and english font and 1, 2 and 3-columns may have to be simplified for them ---- the computer giveth and taketh away . . .
ps a friend, an editor in japan wrote a book with a great chapter on palimpset and it was titled sacrificing goats, i think, as that is where the palimpset comes from . . .
