About meTranslator (French to English), technical and editorial writer, and editor.
About my libraryI majored in French language and literature, as well as studying comparative literature, anthropology and piano performance at university. The Russian and Japanese literature are for pleasure, and I'm a kimonophile. More than a thousand English-language books are in my Oregon home (not catalogued here).
The tags "from grandfather" and "complit" are for my own use (books given to me by my paternal grandfather, and books studied in my comparative literature courses, respectively).

Also asked him if there's any prospect of including macrons for Japanese long vowels, although I do recognize that this may be one request too far! It's hardly essential, but I'm always stumped as to how to enter transliterations for words such as Chado or should that be Chadou, Chadoh, Chadoo, or Chad¯o? At least the macron is unambiguous...
And yup, I'm addicted to this site, too :-) When it came time to enter my (mostly obscure) pamphlets and booklets, I was amazed to discover that virtually all of them are in the system too. Fantastic!
