About me33 yrs. old. Book nerd since birth, I believe.
I have to finish a book even if I hate everything about it.
Began reading early on... Before school. Alway's the kid with the longest "book-worm", in school reading competitions. Eventually, reading things my mother found inappropriate. So, I hid them.
Example--It in 4th or 5th grade. I couldn't stop reading IT and my mom insisted I needed to be outdoors. I wanted to stay in my room until I finished IT, no pun intended. So, that is what I did. I holed up (in hillbilly language) and finished IT. She found the book and insisted that it was of the devil and after that had to hide anything not deemed "wholesome."
I was not a lazy child, just not inspired by the highly sports/rich jerk community I grew up in. It was difficult to be an artsy person in my school system.
About my libraryAs varied as the day is long. I love horror, ghost stories, certain fantasy, some sci-fi, poetry, real life fiction, comedic entertainment, tale's of angst and distress, some memoirs.

I am super excited about this site. I've never really belonged to something like this before.
I've started to join my space, etc., but it didn't draw my attention. I never filled out more than the password and I've already forgotten them.
I am a book nerd and I am proud about that. If this site is what I hope it is, I will become an official paying member.
