I enjoy the Robert Parker mysteries based around horse racing.
I read two books by a master storyteller based in Canada--superb writing, I think his name is Fox.
Now I'm reading a first novel of Jonathan Raymond, The Half Life, set in Oregon.
So far, so good.
Have you heard of Artero Reverte? Wow. Several excellent books on a variety of topics. Wow. And I don't say Wow, often. The Painter of Battles. Wow.

Obviously I'm not very current in my responses to posts to LibraryThing.
I just last year discovered (by Librarian suggestion)Dunning, though I have
been in Denver for some tine now and read extensively. I enjoy books about books and I have now been to Colfax to see for myself some of the 'settings' for the antique or 1st editions bookstores mentioned in his other books. Colfax has a big, new hospital which has/is changing that infamous road. The old stores and motels are fast disappearing.
Have you read Enigma? Or seen the movie?
What other books about book dealers have you found?
