About meActual conversation I had with the movers: "Are these boxes filled with books?" "Yes." "Have you read them all?" "Pretty much." "So...what are you keeping them for?" When I win the lottery I am going to buy a little shop and open a bookstore with lots of big cozy chairs, good lighting, and a never ending pot of coffee. In the meantime, I am a professional artist and college professor in Massachusetts. I put in alot of years at a large national bookstore chain and actually really loved it.
About my libraryI took full advantage of my 30% discount at my job and acquired some really fun books. I am mad about books-and also somewhat particular and sentimental. I have many books that belonged to different family members or that are cherished gifts. Judging a book by its' cover? Guilty as charged!! My interests include psychology, personal growth, art, memoir, essay, crafts, women's issues, and contemporary fiction (mostly by women).

I am reading The Latehomecomer and found you on that page. This book is amazing. I am trying to spread the word...
I love the books that we share. It seems that you also collect every best american short story collection. I used to read them to find new writers. Now I just collect them.
Mind if I add you to my interesting libraries so I can keep on top of what you are reading and loving?
