About meI'm a university student with way too many interests, which is wonderful, except when you're trying to finish school. I'm getting a BA in music, with an emphasis on ethnomusicology. I play cello, haegum, fiddle, clarinet, tin whistle and I'm a soprano. Cultural anthropology has been a love of mine for the past couple of years now. I listen to BBC radio and NPR, I watch anything related to Doctor Who and any show ever created by Joss Whedon. I want to travel the world, but until I have the funds I'll be happy with learning about it. I'm a lesbian who's engaged to the most beautiful trans woman. I'm a Gaelic Traditionalist who's way too interested in Central Eurasia for her own good and likes hanging out with Zen Buddhist nuns. I love nature and being outside, but I'm also perfectly content curled up in bed with my fiancee reading a good book, listening to good music and drinking good tea.

And I think I'm going to enjoy this site a little too much... so much goodness!

About my libraryMy library is a little thin at the moment, as most of my money goes to music and text books at the moment. Hopefully I'll start getting some of those books on my wishlist soon, but for now I'm making do with Google books and sacred-texts.
