About meAn independent publisher located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Fulcrum takes pride in encouraging readers to live life to the fullest and to learn something new every day.

About my libraryWe would love to hear from you about any of our books--from nature and environment titles, to lifestyle, history, and culture.

Carrying and promoting over 450 active titles, the company is a resounding voice for independent publishing in the western United States. In 2006, Fulcrum made its first foray into fiction with the breakthrough novel Broken Trail, which was the basis for the AMC miniseries starring Robert Duvall and the winner of two Spur Awards and two Western Heritage Awards. In this same year, Fulcrum saw its citizen's guide, Stop Global Warming, written by Oscar-winning producer Laurie David, become a national best-selling title. With titles like these at the forefront, and with other titles from notable writers like Willie Nelson and Anita Thompson, Fulcrum's list continues to be strong. This year will see additions to the successful public policy line of Speaker's Corners books, exciting new fiction, outstanding children's books, and titles that reflect our strong commitment to Native American voices and the preservation of the natural world.
