About me"Lila Futuransky always knew she was an outlaw, but she could never figure out which one. She wanted to be free but coudn't figure out what that meant. Yet, endlessly persevering, she continued to believe that she could construct any kind of life that she desired to live."

Those are the opening lines of one of the books I have catalogued so far.

About my librarySome of my books are in Glasgow at my mother's house, and the rest of them are in LA with me.

I like using the ratings to signify how important a book has been to me - I haven't entirely implemented the system yet, but ideally a book will get five stars in my catalogue if it's changed or influenced my life in what I feel to be a significant - and positive - way.

Take Time
by: Larry S. Chengges

Take time
for whats important to you
for what makes you happiest

take time to be with
those you love
and share your deepest wish
most secret dream
your favourite fantasy

take time to look around
at all the gladness
the world can offer

all of it is yours
if only you take the time.
Hi,

Saw you liked Trainspotting, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reading my new novel and posting your comments here (as well as on a few other book-related sites). Thought you might like my novel since it's also about a group of disturbed kids and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Hi! Nice to hear from you! I added you to my watch list...i see you like samuel r. delaney...have you read other nalo hopkinson besides midnight robber? and i'd highly, highly recommend "kynship" by daniel heath justice as well...yay.
perhaps we'll be tied in the le guin / queer categories once i have my library catalogued. i've only started adding this week & am sure it will be a long process. what better way to meet people with common interests than to peruse their (virtual) bookshelves?
