About mePostdoc mathematician in Göttingen.

About my libraryPisa: contains most of the books I have in my house in Pisa. There are many mathematical books I use in my work and other mathematical-oriented books. I have also some comics I use to pick up at conventions and old previously-owned SF books I buy in bookstalls.

Palermo: contains many books from my family house in Palermo. I uploaded most of those I can really call "my own", mainly classics, SF (my Asimov collection) and popular science books I read as a child.

Göttingen: The books I have with me in Göttingen. A few ones I couldn't part with, a bunch of unread ones, and my most recent acquisitions.

Ebooks: Electronic books I have read; I will not put here electronic versions of books I own in paper form, unless I didn't read the ebook version before owning the paper one.

Your library: Is the union of the "Pisa", "Palermo", "Basel" and "Ebooks" collections; in contains the real books I own (read and unread) and the ebooks I have read.

Whishlist: There is little point in putting here books I want to read, because the list would quickly become unmanageably long. For now I'm using it to take a quick note when I come across a book which seems interesting. I'll probably clean it up as next Newtonmas draws near.

Currently reading: I'm endeavouring to keep this list up to date; I predict it will soon become a graveyard for books that bog me down.

To read: The long list of books I own and haven't managed to read yet, but that I plan to, eventually.

Read but unowned: The name tells all. I will not retroactively upload books I read in the past, but I'll put here books I borrow from friends; I prefer to buy books rather than borrow them from a library.

Favorites: I don't know exactly how to use this; besides, it is spelt wrong. I'm putting here books which are particulary dear to me due to some memory, reflection, or personal reason.
