About meAfter spending years as a corporate lawyer in a big law firm in NYC, I'm looking into starting my own practice. I have time to explore NYC, learn to cook and eat healthier, exercise, garden (on my Brooklyn balcony), and read more. My interests are very broad from cooking and gardening to real estate, estate planning, tax law, investing and law to escapist fiction of all types to nonfiction and memoirs
I'm a First Look Reader at Barnes and Noble.

About my libraryI love escapist fiction - detective stories and mysteries, fantasy, historical romances, science fiction, and legal thrillers.

I joined LT a little over a year ago and added one book and one review. Last month I finally got around to adding the more recent reads. Now, I am slowly filling in the reviews - I was hoping to do 2 a day but I got distracted with work. I am a software engineer at a telecommunications company in NJ.
In April, I entered the LT ER give away on the last day it was open. I was very fortunate and snagged a copy of The Angel's Game by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. I even received the book from the publisher 1 week later! It was 1 of 25 copies and over 1200 LT members requested it - pretty tough odds. I tried for a member giveaway Rooftops of Tehran but I guess lightning doesn't strike twice. I am hoping to finish TAG by the end of next week and get my review up as soon as possible.
I just noticed that the May batch is up. I'll have to take a look and see if I find anything interesting.
Enjoy!
