Sorry for the delay in replying. Thank you for that website. And thank you for the idea for finding a teacher. I'll look into them both!
I studied Gaelic for one year, years ago, in the Boston, Mass. area with a great teacher who said "the first seven years are the hardest". Unfortunately he moved to Nova Scotia to teach at the Gaelic College there. I have been looking for another teacher since, but haven't found one. It was great to see your collection and learn of so many Gaelic books available in the world.
Mhorag, is choir dhut a toisich Comhlan Gaidhlig an-seo, nach eil?
I was only there for a couple of years between '87 and '89. I have to admit my more recent Gaelic acquisitions are a bit ad-hoc, but at least now living in Edinburgh there's the benefit of more Gaelic TV & radio. Of course then we didn't have the internet!
I studied Gaelic many years ago at the City Lit and would just like to say how nice it is to see your presence here. Many of my own Gaelic books were bought from the Book Council visits.
