About meI'm a budding librarian, currently attending the MLIS program at the University of Western Ontario. I'm also a geek, born and bred, and an avid bibliophile. I believe graphic novels are a great -- and mostly ignored -- tool for literacy, and I also believe there is plenty of literary value in video games.

About my libraryOne thing you can say about my library is that it's very genre driven.

I've loved comics for more than fifteen years, so my library is a little heavy on graphic novels and books about my favourite hobby. More recently, I've gotten into the Japanese side of things, and gobbled that up, too.

I'm a science fiction and fantasy geek, born and bred, and my library reflects that. I also have a fond spot for historical romance. All three of these genres are well-represented, though I'm a little picky about my romance.

I've kept every book I've ever received, even the bad ones, and can't resist a good deal or free shipping after $39. It's not the biggest library, but it's steadily growing.
