About meI'm a librarian and grad student in my 20s living in Boston.

About my libraryI've been an avid reader my entire life, but I only hold on to books that I would re-read over and over again or that I truly love. I love random facts, and that shows up in my nonfiction selection. My books are currently on three bookshelves with my current reads in mini-piles on the floor.

Be sure to check out http://www.librarything.com/profile/gaia... to see my list of books I've read since July 08.

My library comes with the disclaimer that it's not at all complete. I made it through all my grown-up books*, most of which are unread novels picked up for free at library book sales, most of my mysteries, and most of my classics, but hardly ANY of my children's and YA books, which are the backbone of both my collection and my life. I also haven't updated my library's holdings in close to two years, durring which time have continued buying books like it's going out of style.

*by which I mean books written for adults, not porn. Which is what people always think it means.
Is this twitterati Amanda McNeil? I'm guessing yes, based on the fact that you're friends with all the others from #MALibTweetUp, but I don't just want to wily-nily friend a stranger.

Either way though, I think having the two accounts is a fantastically cool idea. I might do the same thing!
Like giggling is supposed to be endearing???? Oh brother! I think we got duped;)

Have a great week and watch out for the gigglers - they've got serious emotional problems!;)

Best!
Erin
Oh I know exactly what you mean. On many an occasion I've been talking with someone and then literally stopped because I could not think of the word or name. Ah well, it happens to the best of us!
