About me I'm a retired engineer and computer guy. I wanted to do something different when I retired, so decided to become a fused glass artist. I enjoy the technical aspects of fusing glass, but mostly I like shiny pretty things. The photo shows some of my pieces.
About my library Now that I've got my Kindle, I can actually start building a library. I've had many hundreds of books over the years, but have never been able to keep them for want of space. With an 8 gig SDHC card, my Kindle can hold about 16,000 books, so I don't think space will be an issue any longer.
Right now, I've got about 250 books on my Kindle. About 20% are Amazon ebooks, mostly popular fiction and humor. The other 80% are free ebooks from Gutenberg.org and Wowio.com. Most of those are first person historical narratives, and novels.

I agree with all you say. I had an electronic book before (2 in fact, as I left one in a seat pocket on a flight) but they went out of business. But I was already sold. So the Kindle was a natural segue for me. I was on the road all the time and could carry dozens of books in my ebook to suit every type of reading mood!
Happy page turning...

Fused glass is a new to me but your work is certainly artistic and beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
