About meBirds, bees and butterflies are my passion. I am also very interested in reptiles, especially gators and Gators (the kind that hold two joint national championships in football and basketball), amphibians, insects, trees, flowers, etc. I enjoy introducing folks to the "real Florida" with nature walks. My idea of a great day is a visit to a good birding spot with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, a bottle of water, my bins and a good field guide.

About my libraryI share OUR library with my husband. Though we have seperate interests, all the books are shared.

Hi Gatorbirder,
Enjoyed looking at your library. I'm a birdwatcher also, so we have some books in common. I'm just getting started with LibraryThing and decided to begin with entering my field guides.

We're visiting Florida in two weeks to pick up a cruise out of Fort Lauderdale, but we'll have a couple of free days before the cruise starts. I'm packing my binoculars. I'm looking forward to seeing Florida's wonderful wildlife and also to getting some sunshine--it's been a long winter in Minnesota.
