Hello,
i have a personal recommendation for you : The wild places by Robert Macfarlane. A beauty. Travelling to the last wild places in England, Ireland, Wales and especially Scotland with great descriptions taking you through nature, history and local situations.
Greetings

Hello,
thanks for your extensive reply. Yes, i know the website but some first hand info of people who actually went there is always nice. Thanks a lot. This year France is our holiday destiny but next year Skye is on the wishlist, a very short wishlist, only Skye on it ... ;-)
thanks again

Hello,
by the look of your library you seem to be an experienced Scotland traveller. I also like Scotland very much, are there any tips to be shared for Skye (staying, eating out ...) ?
thanks in advance

Hi,

Saw you liked Trainspotting, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reading my new novel and posting your comments here (as well as on a few other book-related sites). Thought you might like my novel since it's also about a group of disturbed kids and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:
