About meI'm a lecturer in English literature at a New Zealand university. Academic fields of interest: Shakespeare; the classical tradition (especially classical mythology) in Eng lit; children's literature and fantasy.

About my libraryTwo libraries (books tend to migrate back and forth). A working one at my university office (tagged @vic), heavy on Shakespeare and Renaissance, classics, classical tradition and mythology. And a very miscellaneous home one (tagged @home), heavy on SF and fantasy, historical fiction, detective fiction, history, and the theatre; also a substantial Folio Society collection (my most expensive habit).
