About meI am a retired U.S. Navy captain and the author of four novels, and one non-fiction work. My novels can be classified as political intrigue, though the most recent one, King of the Hill, is a historical crime novel. The non-fiction work, entitled "An Author's Guide to Publishing on the Internet", is aimed at helping authors understand the complexities of signing on with internet publishers.

About my libraryMy library is extensive and varied, consisting in part of all of Richard Russo's books, a growing collection of Donald Westlake books, including those written under Richard Stark, and a wide collection of Elmore Leonard's works, as well as a budding collection of Civil War battle books. Scattered throughout my library are works by James Thurber, Shakespeare, Dumas, Erik Larson, and, one of my favorite authors, Jim Lehrer.
