Greetings!

Solomon wrote in Proverbs - "hope deffered makes the heart sick". Losing someone you really care about can be devastating - not matter how illogical the emotion.

One way that may help you to move on is to pray for the things that are important for her and realize that, as good as she is, God has someone even better for you.

Definitely planning on getting Darwin's Dilemma. Have you read Why a Horse is not a Fly or Why Us?

Are you still in California?
There are indeed a great many ways to think about the biblical doctrine of creation, the most intellectually honest of which do not entail a dogmatic and even pernicious insistence on young-earth, six-day creationism. Nor, I perceive, do they necessarily entail a rejection of Darwinism if the evidence points that way (it may not). Certainly, as Paul says, we do indeed see "through a glass, darkly" (1 Cor. 13:12).
Hiya, I saw your post on Talk ... if you want to turn off the cover pics view, there's a button for 'List' on your catalogue tool bar. That will give you a list view. You can then use the 'Edit Styles' button to customise the styles to include the information fields that you want.

Welcome to LT,
Claire
