About meThe image I have chosen is by the artist Paul Kidby of the Terry Pratchett character 'The Librarian'. You can find out more about Paul Kidby, his brilliant illustrations for Pratchett's books and his other art work at This LibraryThing account is currently run by the night time librarian at Guildford Grammar School in Western Australia. Our book club has a group.

About my libraryThe books in my library are books that are either in our school library or read for book club. Some are young adult books some are books read by young adults. This is a free account at the moment so I have only included some of the books that I have read from our library.

Hi Alison - I've been a quiet member in recent times, preoccupied with other things. Hope you are all well. Methinks we read quite different things - I'm in middle of the new Brian Burke biography at the moment and the history of WA by Geoffrey Bolton and some Ezliabeth Jolley. I will review them when I'm done,
I;m sorry i have not read that series before is it good?
I really liked Magyk as well and i do love some of the books in your library.
I read your review of Hogfather, and for a succinct paragraph-length review, I must say it was spot on! You piqued interest and gave a snippet of story without giving anything away. Applause!

Thanks for the note! I enjoyed Going Postal and look forward to more. I had tried one random book from among those of Discworld and had a hard time getting through it. However, I always planned to try again because of much love for similar British zaniness and humour.
