I tend to play DBA for ancients - quick play, simplistic and using only 12 elements. I have a ridiculously large collection of DBA armies. In the past I played the pre DBx series (Wargames Research Group Ancients rules - 5th, 6th and 7th edtion). These days WRG7th has become Warrior Rules - and I am nominally the driver of that competition in Canberra at our big wargames convention but I haven't played Warrior for a number of years.
Every year at my club I organise an ongoing DBA campaign that runs from Feb to Oct - this year we are doing the Scottish War of independance. In preparation I have just read Reese's account of 'Bannockburn'.
All the best
David

you didn't waste any time getting your 200 books catalouged - and a respectable 34 match with mine. As I get more of my Osprey series catalouged I think the overlap will increase.
Cheers
