About meI've read quite a few books during my life. Way back when I was in high school I read a lot of fantasy and science fiction books. When I graduated from high school I stopped reading fiction and began to research anything and everything on Ancient Rome, Ancient Greece, Ancient Egypt, Native Americans, Japan, Medieval times as well as arms and armor from those periods.
Then, a few years later, I stopped researching all together. Only recently have I started reading again and this time it is strictly about Japan. Mostly during the time of the samurai or during World War 2, basically from the Japanese viewpoint of the war.
I do have a lot of other interests besides reading and researching. I love to write, work on arts and crafts and I absolutely love the outdoors. But, with only so much time free around work, I have little time to get all my interests in, including reading.
About my libraryMy library might, one day, include all the better books I read when I was in high school and maybe some of the research books I worked on right after I graduated high school. But, for the most part it will include the books I have read from around 2000 on. A few of these are books I had from the local library but some were ones I either bought local or found online. These books deal primarily with Japan either during the time of the samurai or during world war 2. Most are technical books (as on the Zero) or personal observations about the war from first hand accounts of those who fought (and sometimes died) during the various battles.
