About meI am 28 years old. I fell in love with collecting books after turning into an English Lit major in college. Currently I am working for the Minnesota Literacy Council, after spending two years doing AmeriCorps. I love books. I love reading. I have become obsessed with book swapping sites online (www.paperbackswap.com, www.bookmooch.com). I will buy books at garage sales and such and then swap them for books I really want. Greatest invention ever!

About my libraryI read mostly fiction, some memoir type stuff. I love magical realism, outdoorsy books, anything set in the american west and world literature (chinese, indian, middle eastern and latin american).
I have been collecting for about 6 years now, and my books are starting to outgrow me both in space and time.
And yes, I actually own all the books in my catalog here...

I am a writer of Western fiction and I'm looking for folks who may be interested in things of the west like I am. I live in NM and enjoy hiking and exploring all over the southwest.
Feel free to add me as a friend if you want.
Thanks,
Jon.

I'm currently reading "Dreamers of the Day" by Mary Doria Russell. The majority of the story is set in Cairo during the Cairo Conference (is that right? I'm not sure) which was attended post-WWI by T. E. Lawrence, Winston Churchill, and Gertrude Bell. It is just excellent and very relevent.
Have a great day!
