About meMy website links to my blog where I keep track of all of the books I read. This is also where I archive complete reviews of the books I read. (This means they include spoilers. Any reviews I leave here on LT may be abridged so as not to accidentally ruin anyone's reading experience.)

About my libraryI tag obsessively and my ratings have very little to do with how well I think the book is actually written and a lot to do with how much I enjoyed it.

That would be awesome!! We need to hang out soon...
Hi Kirsten! :) You should teach me how to use LibraryThing, because I feel I am not using it to it's full potential. Not to mention I have a lot of books to add in...
I know I've read "A Grief Observed", but I don't remember much about it. I'll have to read it again - thanks for the recommendation.
You didn't like Chicken Soup for the Grieving Soul? I loved that book; I buy copies of it and take it to funeral homes with me. It is so comforting to people who've lost a loved one. A little sacharine-y, like all the Chicken Soup books are, but there are times in life when you need that type of thing. I just read another book called Always Too Soon that was supposed to be "words of support..." for people who've buried both parents. It wasn't, it was just plain depressing. I do hospice work so I read a lot on death and dying. This Chicken Soup book is my favorite. You caught my eye because you were the only one to rate it. Once I did, it's average rating tripled. I've never made such a difference before!
Hi, just looking through your catalogue, you have reminded me of how many books I have read and not remembered to put in my own catalogue - although I haven't been a member for long, I also like the way the covers are so different between those sold in England and those in America! I have a hard time recognising some of the books that I have read.
Hi: I was checking out your catalog because you showed up as sharing a fairly high percentage of books with my library. After reading your bio, I can't help but make a mystery recommendation. I've recently started reading the Aunt Dimity books by Nancy Atherton, and the only word I can think of to describe them is "delightful." They're cozies, so don't expect heart-pounding action, but I enjoyed them very much. Also, since you seem to enjoy romance and, perhaps, vampire stories, you might try the "Undead" series by MaryJanice Davidson. They're hysterical! Happy reading!
