About meA former molecular biologist and professional stagehand turned software engineer pushed into management who can cook a pretty damn good meal, run a two-scene manual light board, sequence DNA, and build a half-way decent set of cabinets.

About my libraryNot even close to the biggest libraries, but it still seems plenty large to me. Especially when I think of the number of books I've sold or given away during various moves. But that's pretty much it, except for the odd book on loan to a friend, and the ever-continuing new acquisitions.

The non-fiction will probably never catch up to the fiction, but I seem to be reading more and more of it the farther I get from college and being forced to read so much of it. Now that I'm done cataloging, maybe I should get to work on building a new home for them...

Since I've joined Bookmooch to provide a home for the books I don't want to keep any longer but I still want to note them, all those books are "Read but unowned". Some retain the pre-collections tag of "Mooched Away". Unfortunately for the moochers, I want to keep most of the books I have. On the flip-side, it seems most of the stuff I don't want, somebody does, as it is almost always mooched within 2 days of posting.

Well spotted! The picture I use here and on kiva was drawn by my niece.
Like your collection...cheers...Harry
I enjoyed your review of The Android's Dream. My reaction was similar. I look forward to reading more of your reviews. FWIW, I'd recommend The Atrocity Archives to you if you haven't read it (based on your review and your profile).
Thanks so much for the tip on Robertson-I'd read one of his books and really liked it, so he's been added tro the list. i shall make a point of getting that one soon.
