About me7/20/09: Can't stay engaged with the Rachel Morgan/Hollows books. Started Patriot Witch, not loving that one either. Ghouls Just Haunt to Have Fun, on the other hand, I couldn't put down, and finished it in one day. Makes me think I shouldn't be wasting my time on books I have to force myself to keep reading.

6/17/09: Annoyed that I logged in and found my profile pic missing. Grrr! Good thing it was still there, I just needed to change the radio button from None to Uploaded. In JuNoWriMo news, I have 3300 words written. Given the upswing in my workload for June, I've decided to make it more of a summer thing than a month thing--as long as I have 50,000 words and a beginning, middle and end by my birthday, I'll be satisfied.

5/29/09: I am way behind in my reading, 'cause I have decided to try JuNoWriMo (i.e. NaNoWriMo in June, i.e. writing a 50,000 word book in 30 days). Why am I doing this now instead of in November? Because when I turn 40 in August, I want to be able to say I've accomplished something, even if that something is as lame as writing a truly terrible book. I have a stack of library books that will be overdue soon, that I desperately want to read, but I'm going to have to return them all unread until after this project.
