About mePhD Candidate, McGill University, studying geography, technology, and Indigenous peoples. I am also a writer, with several self-published chapbooks, as well as individual poems published in various journals.

About my libraryI collect books, often by publisher. I like Grove, New Directions, and Verso. I have been collecting books since I was 20 years old. Every three or four years I get rid of a few, and replace them with higher quality titles, or better bound versions of the same titles. I like fiction, poetry, and philosophy.

Thanks so much for the wonderful review. Can you send me your full name? I'd like to post the review on my web site. Thanks again!
Great. Send me your e-mail address (mine is mail@christophertusa.com), and I'll send you the e-book version of the book.

Thanks,

Chris
Noticed you liked Sanctuary, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also southern, a bit violent, and a bit dark :) I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter)in case you'd like to read more about the novel before you commit:

August Kleinzahler - where did you pick up your copies of his books? i am looking for Music: I-LXXIV at the moment. I guess Amazon US will get it in eventually.
Hi, Luke, that's an intriguing constellation of interests you profess! (Curiously enough, I know of one other LTer with both a degree in geography and a deep love of poetry...)
Thanks for checking out my library! Have you ever checked out Archipelago or Twisted Spoon Press? Those two came to mind when I saw your interest in publishers. Also, here in Tokyo, if you go to a book store, novels in Japanese are organized by publisher and then author. So if you are looking for one author, you have to look through a few publishers. Don't quite understand the reason...Love maps myself!
I'm glad that you find my library interesting. Yours is too. I look forward to exploring it.
So I'm not the only person in the world who has added "Contact and Conflict" to my library in recent months -- someone else out there has been slogging through colonial relations with First Nations people this summer too. My sympathies.
And how weird that you also have the Giscombe book -- you give me renewed hope that I am not alone in my completely obscure reading patterns and interests...
Ya, isn't it great? I love its history as well.
Luke, I always knew you were an Easy Book Lover. 5 stars has to blow my mind. But then again, maybe one can just read a lot of books that blow one's mind?

I owe you a good long email, which I will send to you tomorra --

I think you double click to do a half star? let me try & let you know.

love, Allison
