About my libraryMy library's growing here in Canada, but I have some books left in the Philippines. Subjects/topics of my books vary, though I am slowly building a "sub-section" of my library, focusing on pre- and modern Japanese literature.
Also included in this catalogue are my sister's and my father's books.

I wanted to know if you got your copy of Good Date, Bad Date: The Matchmaker's Guide to Where the Boys Are—and How to Get Them from the early review program. If so, when did you get it - I am still waiting on my copy from the Feb. batch...just a little worried!

Saw you liked Trainspotting, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reading my new novel and posting your comments here (as well as on a few other book-related sites). Thought you might like my novel since it's also about a group of disturbed kids and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

As for Tanizaki, I've read _The Key_ and _Seven Japanese Tales_ and enjoyed both immensely. I am reading 'Quicksand' right now. I also wish to read Kawabata, Abe, etc. Whatever I can get my hands on... Not buying books until this TBR pile shrinks a bit though. Asian Studies might end up being my minor too if I choose to have one. I just started taking Japanese this semester.
Please pardon my bugging you. haha.
