That rustle, like dead leaves...could it be? Another Tanith Lee fan in this wasteland where a sickly orange sun is chased south, night after night, by a snapping alpha wind and pack of steel blue clouds? The low zephyr off the mud flats whispers "scarabae..." and laughs and runs back towards the sleeping lady, shrowded in snow, giggling, "or susitna, susitna...which?" Scarabae? Do you know that name?
"Werewolf of Paris" is an old favorite. The brit. horror film
"Curse of the Werewolf" is supposed to be based on it.
.....a reference to the Tarot (Hanged Man), perhaps?
What a curious nickname! You know the story of Mary Blandy, hanged for murdering her father? I've been researching this recently - this is why your monica caught my eye.
