My husband and I are vacationing with my Mom in Hilton Head, South Carolina. It's a little island south of Charleston and a little north of Savannah, Georgia. Normally, it averages about 55degF this time of year but there is an unusual cold front so it's been in the 20's. My husband is not happy because he can't play golf. I'm fine since I'm just reading and doing some threads here.

Hi, happypoodle!

Just checking in to see how you are doing. I'm on vacation, my husband and I headed a little south with my Mom for a little warmer weather. Unfortunately, we took the cold weather with us. Hopefully, it will warm up a little later this week. While I'm here, I am starting my Harry Potter category for my 999 Challenge...so far I'm really enjoying them.

Just checking in with my friends to see that their reading is keeping them entertained.
I see from your library that we have a few authors in common. My problem with Cozy Mysteries is that I keep finding more authors that write them in a series and I want to read them too. But I'm going to stick with my challenges and fit the Cozies in where I can.
I'm getting ready to start my US Presidents Challenge as soon as I finish Rose from the Dead by Kate Collins. Maybe another 120 pages to go. I'm starting with George Washington so that hopefully I can finish him before the 999 challenge starts and I'll be right on track for President #2 John Adams which is one of my 999 books. Juggling the two challenges is going to be a challenge in itself.
But hey, I'll being reading!
