About meI generally read three or four books at a time until one of them sufficiently catches my attention.

I don't have enough time to read very much fiction but when I do, my favorite author is John Irving.

I am a doctoral student in the Theory department of EECS at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. I have a Masters from the University of Michigan School of Information (si.umich.edu). I did my undergrad at Michigan State in Telecommunications, Information Studies and Media (tc.msu.edu)

My current specialization is ICD (Incentive Centered Design), which can best be explained as the intersection of economics and information theory. It's heavy on statistics and basic decision making theory.

About my libraryMy library is mostly a stack of books piled up next to my desk.

Economies of Network Industries by Hans Gottinger - i think this guy was uncovered as a fraud last year, but great visual explanations nonetheless.

netonomics. i was particularly interested in it during undergrad but i deemed it had no future. prospects for you look good? how do you apply it?
i see we are the only 2 people to have read Network Economics textbook. I assume you did it out of personal curiosity also? and u have an interest in philosophy, economics...well met stranger.

you ever use a bloomberg terminal before? looks like itd be right up your ally. finance interest as well? theres also a network economics quarterly if u are interested - free.
Hi,

Being a professor was the original plan before I got a job at a central bank. This is 99% my work library, I still have to add the home version.
