About my libraryThe library combines my books and my partner's. My books underwent a rather severe pruning several years after graduate school. So far I don't miss the books I sold or gave away. The shelf space has been given over to other books of course.

I've started adding in books I've borrowed and read--mostly because I'm tired of keeping track on paper, partly to more accurately reflect what I'm actually reading from day to day.

I noticed that you are the only other person who owns Letitia Pilkington's memoirs and was curious how you came across it. I found my copy at McIntyre and Moore in Cambridge, MA and bought it simply because I have a fondness for 18th/19th century memoirs.
I'm a newcomer to LT, just starting to list my books, and looked at the "fun Statistics", saw that you were one user who shared two Douglas Dunn books I'd entered. This led me to click on your library, where on the first page I saw the Penguin "Poems of the Late Tang". I just want to let you know that this was a reminder of a book I loved and lost years ago - I remember those translations are so delicate. It was a real pleasure to see it, and I shall hunt out a replacement copy of it.
