Heidi, I am from MN and love the Wm Kent Krueger books. MN's Northwoods really as remote and beautiful as he describes them in his books. A former boss grew up in Aurora so I've heard about the small community many times. His Minneapolis and Duluth references are accurate; including the description of Superior, Wisc. The books are hard to put down once I get started. WKK is promoting his newest book in several spots here in the Twin Cities so I plan on seeing him once again.
