About meThirty-something male with a degree in Classical Languages and Literatures (a Hellenist by inclination); a subsequent degree in English Literature is in progress. Strong interest in medicine, especially genetics, reproductive endocrinology, and public health. I also have interest in voice, art history, travel narratives, and science fiction by women. I enjoy writing, but have not the temerity to do so professionally. I so admire authors for their dedication and perseverance.

Nothing is more frustrating than reading something with glaring typographical and grammatical errors. Oh, editors, wherefore art thou? Pheu!

About my libraryVery eclectic, encompassing a variety of genres. I read mostly fiction with a mystery/thriller bent and prefer stories with women protagonists. I also greatly enjoy historical fiction, literary criticism (but no Freud, thank you), biography, and memoir. There is a fair amount of spiritualism and supernatural phenomena in my library, topics which frequently inform both my fiction and non-fiction reading.
