About meOld semi retired medic, beat, hippy, nurse. Stumbling through semi retirement.

About my libraryAround 3000+ volumes that I had been entering by hand into an Access file when I was referred to Library Thing. I have great hopes that the arrival of CueCat will turn my life into a shinning thing of great beauty.

Hi, Paul:

Thanks for coming on the thread yesterday. Sometimes I feel I'm twisting in the wind there.
Paul:

Le Salon du Peuple pour Le Peuple (but just regular people, mixed in with a few geniuses) set up a strand for underappreciated writers and will feature me (and my book) in December. Check it out, express your opinion if you like:

I wish I knew what to say about your offer. It's quite generous. But except for Powells Books, and maybe alibris and eBay, I don't know of any Internet outlets where a review might help. It's ironic because I earn a living working, freelance out of my house, as an editor for various publishers, but that has nothing to do with the sales side of things, and I was never much of a salesman anyway.
And I see you also placed it on amazon. Thanks again.

Thank you, Paul. Nice review. I hope you too have recovered from the past, though aging itself seems to bring its own tribulations.
You are more than welcome. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. However, be warned it may lead to an inordinant amount of time spent sitting and thinking "I wonder if ..."
Thanks for the rec, it's been added to the catalog. That does sound disturbing, now I'm going to have to read it...
