About me“When I get a little money I buy books; and if any is left I buy food and clothes.” Desiderius Erasmus

Thirty-something poet living in Portland. I studied creative writing at the University of Idaho in Moscow and my poems have been published in several anthologies, magazines, pamphlets, and zines by various small presses in the US, Canada, and the UK. Since graduating, I have worked as a writer/editor for several websites based in Salt Lake City and as a library assistant for the Salt Lake City Public Library system and RBKC Libraries in London. I have returned to the US after spending just over four years living in England~my very own expatriate experience.
I'm nothing if not bohemian. I love to travel and experience different cultures, but equally I love to stay at home with my books and bric-a-brac and think of my adventures.
Love books. Love signed books.

profile picture is 'Studio in Montparnasse' by Christopher Richard Wynne Nevinson (exhibited 1926).

About my libraryVery eclectic reader by nature, but am obsessed with Paris in the 1920s. I fancy myself as some incarnate of Sylvia Beach. I lean towards literary biographies, travel memoirs, culinary literature, simple living/environmental books, feminist studies, 20th century fiction, and of course poetry.

my rating system:
