About me I used to work at a large corporate bookstore and it only fed my book addiction. Now I'm in school and have little time for leisure reading (it took me two months plus to read The World Is Flat!).
I'm 30 and my husband is 32. I have no space for more books but this doesn't stop me. :)
I have a declawed CueCat and I know how to use it!
About my library Due to space issues, I have nothing resembling alphabetical order on my shelves. Instead, I simply do my best to keep all an author's books together, allocating space based on number or works and size of books. I do have separate shelves (or sections of shelves) for children's books, nonfiction, graphic novels, anthologies, textbooks/computer books, and music books. The nonfiction books are loosely organized by topic.
I also have a shelf on my tallest bookshelf which is dedicated to oversized books, with two faced out for display -- Lost Girls and The World of Dark Crystal.
I wish my library didn't share the same room as my dining room table and my school desk but the room is bright and has good wall space in an area that would otherwise be empty because of the door openings at either end of the room. Someday, I'll have a full room dedicated to books. It will be awesome.

I'm glad Calculus for Cats reassured you. Hey, it's only numbers, right? And maybe some letters, and a few goofy symbols no one understands, perhaps a few spells, a bit of incense. So really, when you think about it, calculus class can't be worse than some ancient Egyptian curse, right?
As long as you bring some eye of newt with, you have nothing to worry about.
You do have some eye of newt... right?
