About meIn my mid-30's, married, mom to two small children, a new and part-time lawyer, vegetarian, traveler, knitter, cook, and reader of mostly contemporary fiction and classics.

About my libraryI'm lumping the kids' books into my account, and my are there a lot of them! If it says "library" in the tag, it's one I checked out or borrowed and don't own. I'm not so worried about getting bindings and editions right as I catalog these. It turns out I have a lot of knitting books, and I can't help myself when it comes to collecting old etiquette books. Probably the fiction will be added last, because there's so much of it.

I noticed Kafka's The Trial in your library. I finished it a few days ago. Previously, I'd only read his Metamorphosis, and The Hunger Artist. I really know little about Kafka, so I downloaded a couple of essays about The Trial in order to understand it better.

We joined within days of one another -- and we have a lot of the same books. This is almost eerie! It will be interesting to see how things evolve as we continue to input our collections. Nice to "meet" you.
