About my libraryLots of art books and almost no fiction. The little I do have tends to be historic childrens litarture. Nope can't spell, never could. I had to go get IKEA shelving to put my books on. Now I need to go get more.

I have now completed cataloging my primary Chinese collection. I regret it does not contain much on pottery, but I hope it will be of interest to you for cultural background.
I have started cataloging my Chinese books on Librarything now.So far, I have done about 25. I hope to do more soon. I would welcome your comments. I am doing them roughly in chronological order, beginning at those from or about the earliest periods.
I agree in hoping others with similar interests will post their libraries.
I had been telling myself for 30 years or so that I needed to catalog mine, but I had never gotten further than a few informal scribbled lists.
I look forward to hearing about your trip to China. I was there only once, 20 years ago, and only for a few days in the Beijing area.
Thank you for telling me you are on Librarything. I have some books on China which may interest you when I catalog them, but that will be one of the later groups to be done.
Dear Honnoria: I am glad to learn that you are a pottery maker. I found pottery to be really enjoyable in some of the art courses I took. The Middle Ages are a fascinating period in history. My interest is in the castles of the time, Patrick, "Beowulf", "The Song of Roland", "The Dream of the Rood", the Reformation, and such. My wife and I are both from the west coast originally, but we now call the Midwest our home. My profession is architecture and she is a stay-at-home-mom for the remaining five of seven children. Nora also has a small business called "Redeemed Treasures", jewelry that she finds at estate sales and auctions. We share the common interest of rocks, minerals, gems and fossils. Our oldest daughter is home briefly from the Ukraine. Our oldest son leaves for Uganda this next Monday. I really like the "Tiles" book that we share in common. I see that you have also studied Chinese pottery and glazes. One of my favorite subjects is ancient Chinese bronzeware. Please feel free to stop by sometime. yangguy PS: I like your chipmunk.
