About meEditor of HuggingtheCoast.Com, a daily updated foodie blog, the blog's features include The Fish For Friday Seafood Recipe of the Week, The Free Cookbook of the Month, a foodie movies list, a coastal life and Southern food photo gallery, a streaming MP3 playlist, YouTube cooking and travel videos, and more!
After moving to Charleston, SC, I was fortunate to be named the Grand Prize Winner of the Taste of the South Food Competition which was judged by the authors of the Lee Bros. Southern Cookbook for my recipe for Charleston Chili which was created using pulled pork barbecue, country ham, boiled peanuts, and black-eyed peas instead of the more usual beef and beans. Recently, my recipe for Moroccan Charbroiled Lamb & Fennel Stew with 7 Seed Couscous made it to the Semi-Finals of the Redwood Creek Campfire Classic.
About my libraryI love to cook, eat, fish, and travel, so the books in my library definitely reflect that. Did I mention eat? :)
