1. Where the screenplay came from (this is kind for our use)
2. That the item is a screenplay :)
3. The number for that screenplay. They are shelved in our collection in order, so you can peruse them!
Enjoy!

There are currently 5 types of tags on all our books: two containing numbers, and 3 that are more descriptive. In our LT catalog, the tags are arranged in a specific order:
1. Tags that look like 010ABC (3 numbers followed by the first 3 letters of the author's last name) are the call numbers for the books. This should always be the first tag, so if you arrange the books by tag (click on the word "tags" at the top of the column), the view will be a representation of our shelves. That number is also where you'll find the book on our actual shelves.
2. This tag describes the general section a given book is in. These groups are big, but you can see all the books in one group by clicking the appropriate tag. If the call number begins with
0xx = writing/publishing resources
1xx = general collection
2xx = Writers’ Lives
3xx = Puget Sound Writers Collection
4xx = chapbooks(coming soon)
5xx = teaching creative writing
6xx = children's collection
3. Tags like 010 (anything of the form ###) describe the call number subsection; if you click on one of these numbers, you will see all the books that fall into that subsection. So if you want to see a list of all the poetry books we have, find a book with the tag "170" and click the "170" tag. Or, alternatively, you can to the large list of all our tags by clicking the little tiny "tags" link that's at the top of the screen. Find "170," and voila!
4. This tag verbally describes the subsection denoted by the call number. For example, 010 = directories and market guides while 020 = general reference. This tag is hopefully more useful in describing how a particular books fits in our library; because subsections like "fiction" appear in more than one section (in this case, general collection, psw, and kids), this isn't the best tag for collecting similar books into one list. That's what the "###" tag is for. :)
5. This is the author tag(s). It's that straightforward: we list the authors as tags so that you have an easy way of finding all the books by Sherman Alexie, for instance. We don't include editors currently, although you may still find some books that do list editors' names for tags (we're working on cleaning this up; thanks for your patience).
We know this is confusing! Feel free to play around; you can change your view, look at recommendations...LibraryThing is fun and pretty powerful! This is just some basic info. If you have any questions, please contact us at library2@hugohouse.org. Thanks!
