Hi,

Was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Saw you liked Paris Trout, and I thought you might like my novel since it's also southern and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Thanks,

OOOOOOOO- corner windows with a well-used reading chair! Niiiiiiiiiiice.
Greetings! Well, my wife and I just took the leap and moved to Boonville full time, so please do give us a shout sometime when you're in the Valley! Best, Jerry
Hi I just sent you a request to be one of library friends, I love the picture, the size of your library but what really got me, are your favorite writers. I think that at least three of the writers you have on your list don't get the notice they should. The three are Davies, Lively, and Murdock. Enjoy hours of happy reading
Michael
Noticed your picture and thought it was really nice!
Love your photo! Is there anything more beautiful than bookcases filled with books on hardwood floors (and a black cat to boot)? I don't think so. I live in SoCal but that doesn't mean we're automatic enemies...I believe the eternal bond of books can overcome any cultural divide.
Wow! We're practically neighbors, then. We ought to figure out a way to all meet up some time, if you'd like. We're up in AV this weekend, but AV or SF would be fun either way. We'll be at the Ox for the Super Bowl on Sunday. If you're around, just ask for Jerry and Stephanie! By the way, we've picked up a nice book from time to time at the big monthly Barn Sale.
Greetings! I see we share a few books, including Bruce Patterson's "Walking Tractor and other Tales of Old Anderson Valley." My wife and I live in San Francisco, but we've got a house in Boonville as well (that makes us "weekenders" in Anderson Valley, but we're working on it!). Have you read these stories? They're quite good, I think, and Patterson, who I see around Boonville quite a bit, is certainly an interesting fellow. Best, Jerry
Hey there!
Your library is impressive! Cute kitty too!
Hi there, we share 140 books and have catalogs of a similar size. I notice you've got several Penelope Lively's and Iris Murdoch's in your collection. I went through a phase about 10 years ago of reading these two, along with Barbara Pym and Elizabeth Taylor. After Murdoch died I decided to reread all her novels, but gave up after about 12 - there's only so much I can take! her characters annoy me so much but I find her books strangely compelling.
Thanks for the recommendations. I've read all the Austens several times and most of D. H. Lawrence's works; however, I haven't read any of Iris Murdoch. I'm going to have to look into that. I'm reading The Inheritance of Loss presently. I'm enjoying it very much.
I think I'm jealous..er... I'm sure we have way too many piles of books on the floor to be able to navigate a cart around them... btw, we share 32 books (of the 300 or so I've managed to log in); nice eclectic mix. What's the most recent, excellent book you read?
Do you really have a libary cart on wheels in your home?
Hello, Hvhay,

We share 13 works, including lots of Philippa Gregory, Proust, "Mrs Dalloway", Hardy, "Madame Bovary" and reference books...good taste!
