About meBragging points
1.My kids (Practically perfect in every way)
2.I grew up near the kid from Mask (the bikers I knew tended to be wife beating junkies, but I'm sure they were the exceptions)
3. Southern California expatriate. 4th generation native married to a 6th gen native. Currently living in Ohio. It's cool, they have weather here, the landscape isn't filled with trash and graffiti, and if you get shot at, it's probably the result of a hunting accident rather than an act of malice.

Well, I'm impressed that my first comment about Octavian Nothing was yours. I thought I would get some "How could you NOT love this book? But I can't get one student in my high school finish it. That's sad. Because it's hard to push Printz winners when the books stink. And you can tell I've been around teenagers for ten months and need a break!
Lovers and loathers of Dan Brown and his on-off relationship with the English language are directed to http://chasmsoftheearth.blogspot.com/ You know it makes sense. Well, more sense than the book.
