About meSomebody once told me I was a fish on a bicycle. I looked in the mirror, and all I could see was a parakeet on a Volkswagen. That analogy explains my surreal days. On my more ordinary days, I breathe and blog live -- and daily, or thereabouts -- on eatingthesun.blogspot.com. What else? My sense of humor exists in theory. But I'm a great guy, after coffee at 8 a.m. Plus, I am the embodiment of perfect and noble snobbishness, but really that's just to hide the insecure boy in me. Beyond the facade, you will be greatly surprised to know that I am human, more human than, say, Britney Spear's left breast. I am wacky and serious all at the same time -- a condition which seriously gives me a headache. And my writing? My writing is beautiful bullshit, really, but bullshit that I love because it keeps me sane -- and I get genuinely surprised that some people actually like it. :) Oh, dear God, I'm not doing well, am I, trying to sell myself?
About my libraryI've collected these books since grade school. They edge out every bit of my living space. Once I had a dream that I died -- and I woke up worried where my books were going to land.

Was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Saw you liked Paris Trout, and I thought you might like my novel since it's also southern and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:
