About my libraryRight now I'm mostly using this as a place to keep track of books I own or liked, not all books I've read. Now on the ebook/ereading bandwagon.

If you happen to have a good condition copy of Country of Broken Stone by Nancy Bond that you're willing to part with (it's out of print), please PM - thanks.

I'm so glad to see another C19'er! So far it doesn't look like we have a lot of the same books, but I'm still adding to my library. Thanks for clicking on my link. Have you visited my blog? Lots of Austen-y stuff there.
Hi icedtead!
Nice to see another person from BC on librarything! It looks like we share a similar taste in books too :)
That's what I thought. I certainly is something else from last years Halloween kitty.

the ad on Shelfari was "right there" on my What's New page..and on my Profile's been a while ago and i don't think it was up for very long...i had heard of the author of the book i got, Stieg Larsson..he was an expert on anti-democratic, right-wing hate groups (on the Left hand, ant-reacist side of the street..he died in 2004)..that was all apropos of nothing (sorry) ad blocker is pretty good for Pop-ups..but i'm glad i get the Free book ones on Shelfari...keep your eyes i said, some of them aren't up for very long
No problem, I am glad I helped you get one. =)

I hope you enjoy,
Hi - yes there will be a transcript posted afterwards. I'll let you kbnow when it goes up and send you the link.

Thanks for the note, icedtea!

My name is Dawn Connolly and I am a LibraryThing member and a librarian at Toronto Public Library. I see that you have included “The Outlander” in your library and rated it at 5 stars. I agree - I love the book.

I run an online book club called Book Buzz and this month we are just getting into a discussion of the book. It’s a friendly group, very relaxed, and we’d love to hear from you, too.

Our website is:

We are also very lucky to be hosting a live online chat with the author, Gil Adamson, on Thursday, March 27, 12 noon- 1 pm (local time). Please feel free to join in.
