About meI am an overachieving college sophomore at UPenn who spends way too much time thinking about abstract stuff. It's fun procrastination... But I do try to have a life! And I don't bite!

About my libraryLibraryThing consists of the books I have in my room only. I have not even touched the attic or public storage, so we might have more books in common than it first seems.

A note on tags: "update" means I still have to check the information on that book. Within that, "cover" means I have to scan and upload the book's cover. "School" refers to books that I have used solely in the classroom (this does not include English books that I also read on my own). "sff" means Science fiction and fantasy, and "ya" means young adult. "Mom" refers to books that were once my mom's, and are now mine. The other tags are fairly self-explanatory, either referring to the type of book or the series to which it belongs.

Yes. I am this OCD. I hope I didn't scare you all away. After all, LibraryThing is a place for bibliophiles like me, right?

One final thing: I don't do reviews. I would (and I used to), but I feel as if I should give every book a review, which requires more time than I have to spare. However, I do give a rating to everything I've finished.

Thanks! =) If all goes well, I'll finish book 1 by March 2008. =D
Thanks for accepting my friend invite. =)
Hey! Good to know that someone is as OCD about their books as I am! Bibliophiles rock! Great selection of favorite authors, too, by the way.
hi. thanks for putting me in your interesting libraries. you have a pretty interesting library too. we have a common love of anne mccaffrey and tamora peirce!
:-)
Hi!

Thanks for the interesting books listing. You inspired me to go update my profile so I'm not so boring!

It's good to see someone who is also a Pierce/Pratchett fan. Those are the two authors I do the most rereads of, but most people like one or the other. I just picked up Making Money, and I'm waiting for my call from Borders for Melting Stones.
Hello there! I just wanted to drop by and say thank you for the "Interesting Libraries" add. :) Ah, and I see you a Kristen Britain fan. I knew there had to more people out there than just my friends and me! So, are you as psyched as I am about the fact that Green Rider #3 is FINALLY coming out?! The 6th of November can't get here soon enough!
I added some books just recently so now we do have the same number of books. Weird, huh? :) George R. R. Martin's books have been recommended to me. I don't have much experience with reading fantasy but since you do, have you read any or heard anything? Just wondering. Thanks.
Thanks for the books. I'll start today! P.S. Have you ever read anything from Charles de Lint? The Blue Girl has a little of something you might like.ttyl
