About meI am a 28 year old published author and artist. I am passionate about both words and images and I believe that the more I read, the better I write. When I first met my husband, we would pass love poetry and short stories between classes. This is our combined library, collected in our nearly ten years of marriage, but I claim all books as mine - even books I don't own yet. Yes, I'm a woman and therefore allowed. Remember: what is his is mine and what is mine is mine.

I will apologize here for being unabashedly silly. My parents worked very hard at warping me and I will not disappoint them. ;) I also have three kids, so if I were not a bit unconventional I would become absolutely insane. Most people view me with a mixture of awe and terror, and I'm fine with that, so gawk on!

About my libraryMy library is very diverse and shows my personality fairly well - 85% fiction, touches of art and color, and the rest are books on spirituality. I have read nearly every book I own and I love comparing writing styles and storylines. I have this odd glitch in my brain - if I read a book, I must own it no matter what I thought of it.

These are all books I own. I do not wishlist books on LibraryThing because I would quickly forget what I actually owned and become angered when I could not find a book that I did not own. Cyndi isn't fun when she's angry. Let's keep Cyndi calm.

I have recently formed a new hobby of buying large lots of books in great condition from yard sales, estate sales, and the local Goodwills and keeping the ones I want. The ones I don't want go up for trade, so any books you see tagged "bookmooch me" are available on bookmooch.com and bookins.com. This hobby makes my entire family crazy but makes me a very happy girl as I find many rare and antique books this way, like an inscribed copy of Tarzan and the Ant Men from 1924. *gloats*

You found an inscribed copy of ‘Tarzan and the Ant Men’? I am so jealous.

I was checking out writing.com and wondered what you thought of it. Do you get helpful feedback from other members? Do you think it helps you become a better writer? Is it only fiction? Sorry about having so many questions. I have written since I was in the 5th grade, a long, long time ago and am interested in anything that could help me get better at it.
Hey there...just wondering if you are still active on LT??
Thanks for your friendship. I look forward to checking out your books and hope you enjoy mine.
Okay, so granted, only 14 books in common out of your over 1600 tells me we don't share much in the way of reading tastes (not that there's anything wrong with that...), but I hop-skipped-and jumped here by checking out the "Users With _____'s Books" thingie (addictive hobby that's become), and read your highly entertaining profile, and gasped when I read the bit about the inscribed Tarzan book at the end of it. Just out of curiosity, was it a signature only, or did he personalize it in some way? Is it with DJ? (Too bad it's one of the more ludicrous Tarzan stories, although kind of fun). And would you ever ever ever consider parting with it? My first born child is available in a trade.
Hi -- i read some of your thoughts over in the poly cons group and enjoyed dropping by to read your profile and browse some of your library. GREAT library! :-)
Thanks for starting the Book Liberation Project. Just because I know some books will eventually meet landfills, does not mean I like it. As I find them, I hope to add some more creative ideas for rescuing books to your new group.
I like the sound of the BLP. Worthwhile aim.
You should definitely read the "Questions You'd Only Ask a Doctor After Your 3rd Martini". It's amusing and actually, very informative.
You came back! Good!
Hi there. I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for having a brain and a sense of humor. Or perhaps you just don't have a mouse on your PC and are therefore unable to click on those aluring "abuse flag" links with the same gusto exhibited by morphidae and co. Anyway, when the Apocalypse finally comes I'll definitely try and put in a good word with my Father to reserve you a place on MY cloud. :)

Oh, BTW, there are no shoes in Heaven. :( Everybody strolls around barefoot wearing togas and strumming harps. I do hope I haven't ruined your day with that Revelation. So you may want to check out your options with the other guy. If you do, my personal lawyer, Dr. Johann Georg Faust, is a legal contracts expert working in this field and I would be only too happy to refer you to him.

Take care, sweetie.*

* Oh, dear, I do hope that didn't sound a little sexist. I'm afraid I'm not very savvy when it comes to these kind of things.
I`ve just seen your message #40 under `The stupid party` (the chihuaha and seed simile). Excellent stuff + very entertaining. As we say where i live - "You`re a good lass."

Best,

Nick
I was reading your educational experience on the Political Conservative thread and I was much impressed by its quality. I would love to hear more about it and will be starting an education discussion thread over in the Libertarian area because this as you demonstrate learning how to think (the mechanics) is key. You will find that I am quite radical about "education." And, since you are also a "free" thinker, I am trusting to you for invaluable input.

You go girl!
You should subscribe to Rob's podcast on iTunes. Very interesting guy. It is not every 20-something pastor that preaches through the book of Deuteronomy with his large, hip congregation.
So which Hall County school? I used to teach at North Hall High, Mathematics, 1989-1991 and 1994-2000. I live in Jackson County now.
I am so addicted to book sales now that I’ve discovered that they exist. Imagine, if you can, a book lover that had no idea such things as library sales/fairs existed! I rarely visited the library because I wanted to own the books I read. As far as loaning out my books... it is a difficult thing to do. I get so excited about the prospect of someone reading a book that I have read... and look forward to talking about it... only to find that weeks and months later they’ve never even cracked it open and in fact have forgotten they even had it. *sigh* Oh, and don’t worry about me competing with your book sale finds as you’re a bit too far away for even I to wander for a good book sale. ;-) Happy hunting and may you find all the titles your heart desires. Er, is that even possible? I find that as soon as you find a new author or topic it leads to you finding more books you want to read. *Shrugs*, the problems of a book lover.
Hi, thanks for joining the Used Books group!

And way to go, sister, you can have as many books as you want!
Way to go -- Spitfire! Keep 'em on their toes!
Oh, good! I'm glad you joined the Political Conservative group. Welcome!
Hi,

I see that you have joined my group. Please feel free to post a message introducing yourself and letting us know what you do in diabetic cooking. Do you have any tips or tricks to share? Do you have any questions about cooking for diabetics? What irritates you most regarding the restrictions? What are your favorite cookbooks and recipes and would you like to share those with us? I posted the first message, but I can't do it all myself! :) Good day and God bless!
