About meI am a 28 year old published author and artist. I am passionate about both words and images and I believe that the more I read, the better I write. When I first met my husband, we would pass love poetry and short stories between classes. This is our combined library, collected in our nearly ten years of marriage, but I claim all books as mine - even books I don't own yet. Yes, I'm a woman and therefore allowed. Remember: what is his is mine and what is mine is mine.
I will apologize here for being unabashedly silly. My parents worked very hard at warping me and I will not disappoint them. ;) I also have three kids, so if I were not a bit unconventional I would become absolutely insane. Most people view me with a mixture of awe and terror, and I'm fine with that, so gawk on!
About my libraryMy library is very diverse and shows my personality fairly well - 85% fiction, touches of art and color, and the rest are books on spirituality. I have read nearly every book I own and I love comparing writing styles and storylines. I have this odd glitch in my brain - if I read a book, I must own it no matter what I thought of it.
These are all books I own. I do not wishlist books on LibraryThing because I would quickly forget what I actually owned and become angered when I could not find a book that I did not own. Cyndi isn't fun when she's angry. Let's keep Cyndi calm.
I have recently formed a new hobby of buying large lots of books in great condition from yard sales, estate sales, and the local Goodwills and keeping the ones I want. The ones I don't want go up for trade, so any books you see tagged "bookmooch me" are available on bookmooch.com and bookins.com. This hobby makes my entire family crazy but makes me a very happy girl as I find many rare and antique books this way, like an inscribed copy of Tarzan and the Ant Men from 1924. *gloats*

I was checking out writing.com and wondered what you thought of it. Do you get helpful feedback from other members? Do you think it helps you become a better writer? Is it only fiction? Sorry about having so many questions. I have written since I was in the 5th grade, a long, long time ago and am interested in anything that could help me get better at it.

Oh, BTW, there are no shoes in Heaven. :( Everybody strolls around barefoot wearing togas and strumming harps. I do hope I haven't ruined your day with that Revelation. So you may want to check out your options with the other guy. If you do, my personal lawyer, Dr. Johann Georg Faust, is a legal contracts expert working in this field and I would be only too happy to refer you to him.
Take care, sweetie.*
* Oh, dear, I do hope that didn't sound a little sexist. I'm afraid I'm not very savvy when it comes to these kind of things.

I see that you have joined my group. Please feel free to post a message introducing yourself and letting us know what you do in diabetic cooking. Do you have any tips or tricks to share? Do you have any questions about cooking for diabetics? What irritates you most regarding the restrictions? What are your favorite cookbooks and recipes and would you like to share those with us? I posted the first message, but I can't do it all myself! :) Good day and God bless!
