About meI'm a Lutheran homeschooling, work-at-home mom of four. My degree is in history and English and I have done some freelance writing. I am also working on my genealogy certification.
About my libraryMy library reflects our homeschooling and my interests. I have pared down my collection a lot in the past few years, trying to only keep what is really good, and trying to check out the current fiction that I want to read from the library. I have a weakness for old books and I love used book stores. I have a couple of authors and illustrators that I collect, so I'm always looking for them.

Would you consider writing book reviews for The Reading Room, the Allen County Public Library’s new blog? Since you are writing reviews of some of the books you read on LibraryThing anyway, it would be great if you could put them on The Reading Room blog to share with other ACPL patrons.
Posting a review to this blog is super-easy: just go to The Reading Room’s Review a Book page at http://acplreadingroom.wordpress.com/sug..., fill in the form with the author, title and your review, and click Submit Comment. That’s it!
Your review doesn’t have to be long, painstakingly written, or academic. It only needs to reflect your true opinion of the book and it needs to avoid spoilers.
I think that if the true book lovers of ACPL share what they are reading, it will become a really wonderful site.
Thanks for considering it!
